OUR TEAM
Our team consist of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds and extensive knowledge of the finance industry. Our team members hold advanced degrees in finance, accounting, and related fields, and have years of experience working with Family Offices, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.
José Aquino is a finance professional with more than 23 years of experience in financial analysis and corporate finance, specializing in financial management, business valuation and asset management. He has been board member in many companies related to the energy and building materials sector. In the past 15 years he was the CFO of Putney Capital Management an asset manager firm associated to INICIA. Currently he continues advising Putney/INICIA and working with other well renowned families being their financial advisor or investment advisor. He is also the Managing Director of Magnetar Global Partners a firm focused on the energy sector.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from INTEC and a Master’s Degree in International Business with a specialization in Finance from the International University of Florida; both degrees obtained with honors.

Additionally, he has achieved courses focused on the financial area and private equity in institutions such as BARNA, the University of Chicago, Harvard Business School, Northwestern University and the Instituto Empresa.

He has been a professor for Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and other educational institutions.
